Very charming spot! The autumn salad was incredible, especially for the price. The red cabbage was a little too bitter, I wish it was roasted a bit. The flavors were really well balanced and everything else in the salad played perfectly with each other. I ate the whole thing and almost gnawed through the bowl. The plum parfait was not overly sweet so you could really appreciate the plums and house made granola. The warm spices in the parfait made it more than just a basic cafe dish. Again, a great portion size. I got their seasonal latte, too. Their house made spiced molasses syrup was unique without being pretentious. Loved the little rosetta in it! All this and you get to have it on a foggy patio with a steady stream of cute dogs parading by. Absolute banger of a Saturday morning.

Excellent egg (with ham and/or mushroom) sando, coffee, and overall atmosphere. I definitely got here during a lull- shortly after, there was a line out the door. And now I know why. Room for ten or so laptops along the wall and windows, with a few small tables in the mix.

First time visitor - great “find” thanks to Google. At 7:30 am, there were 6 customers. By 8:00 am, the line was out the door. Wonderful selection of pastries. I did not ask about the source, but it was just what I needed to start the day in a positive mood. WC was spotless. Kitchen opened promptly at 8, so my order of a ham, mushroom, and egg sandwich was ready shortly thereafter. The only downside was The sandwich was delicious, but 10 for a glorified egg McMuffin was smaller than expected. I will definitely return when I wander on Capitol Hill again at breakfast time.

A different ordering system where you tell the barista what you want then they pass the info to the cashier. I suppose it stops errors in communication but it also disrupts the baristas concentration. It did work though and we got a great coffee. Taste 2.8 Temp 2.8 Texture 2.8 (8.6/9) Art 0,8 Total 9.6

The premiere coffee spot in Seattle. The one place that has a line that deserves it. Don’t let the line deter you though, these guys are hustling and move the line quickly with efficient service. They’re a multi roster coffee shop offering a variety of option for a spectrum of customers. B-side, located in the back, offers breakfast options. Super fantastic vibe, tone of seating both inside and out. There’s a clothes line of periodicals along the wall for anyone to peruse. Can’t recommend this enough!

We went to Analog Coffee for Sunday brunch and appreciated how well they live up to their name. The cafe has a unique vibe, blending both vintage and modern elements, with old records on display and a daily updated newspaper. Though it’s a small space, there was enough seating despite the crowd. Parking can be tricky, as it’s limited to street parking in a residential area. The coffee was excellent, made with local beans. The best part? You order, pay, and pick up your coffee right away—no waiting. We loved the experience!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and it remains my favorite cafe in Seattle. It is the quintessential neighborhood cafe with excellent vibes, music, staff, coffee and food. Seating is ideal for 1-2 people.

This shop has been ranked very highly on my list for the last few years for 3 main reasons: the space, they're connected with bside foods, and of course the coffee. To set the ambiance they have a high quality record player always spinning vinyl, ample amount of seating, and lots of big windows. Regarding bside foods, might be controversial, but they serve the best breakfast sandwich in Seattle (fight me) which would have to be a whole other review on its own. And finally, the coffee is sorced from some of the best roasters in the PNW like Heart from Portland, Candor from Bellingham, Proud Mary (my fave from Australia and Portland) and a Seattle staple Stamp Act. Other than just straight SOE I also love their espresso tonic and spiced chai which is very spiced. Overall, they have a solid pastry selection, service is always good, and I can always rely on them for some great coffee.
